Literally begging you to post about Just Some Stuff. We will see the news I absolutely promise. Twenty people will repost the same exact thing about the news. Only you can post about a turtle you saw
i don't mean to come off as rude but we cannot sustain ourselves on outrage and anger forever. i think it's even more important now to post about other things too. even if it gets less engagement. you never know who will find it cool and interesting.
It’s a real mindfuck when most ppl wanna post about their latest failures/successes, or weird shit they saw in the wild or cool stuff they made…but the country is a cesspool so cool/weird shit seems trite.

'Meredith,' some guys ask, 'why won't you shove AI into Signal?'

Because we love privacy, and we love you, and this shit is predictable and unacceptable. Use Signal ❤️

I switched to Kagi as my default search engine ~a year ago exactly b/c Google search results are SO bad these days.

Never thought a startup would beat Google at search: Kagi does so because Google is an ads engine, not a search engine these days.

Thinking about how a lot of American religion looks like the Fosterite Church of the New Revelation from Stranger in a Strange Land. Heinlein absolutely nailed it in the 50s.

Using kagi.com as a daily driver and I'm very impressed. It takes me back to the days of old Google. Unfortunately they can't help the web being polluted (ads, AI slop, cookie/newsletter popups) but so far I've found Kagi very useful. Not sure if when I'll give Perplexity a look.

Zelda Williams (the daughter of the great Robin Williams) sure had a lot to say about the “Studio Ghibli style” AI images that have been trending recently.

I think those people should read these posts and really think about what they’re doing.
