We might as well get used to the fact that CUSMA is going to be cancelled or, at a minimum, severely truncated by Trump.
In any event, any “deal” he signs will merely set the stage for more rounds of negotiation via threats and demands from him, so what’s the point?
Time to just move on.

Cutting education hurts students.

I’ll also add that at least one faculty contract in the province has clauses to ensure that, in a financial crisis, the core mission of the university—teaching, research, and other public needs—will be protected.

Like so much of US corporate media, CBS 'News' has become a Trump propaganda outlet.
If you're following the unbuilding of CBS News:

What the Trump Administration Is Buying With CBS's Reputation
The administration's story about the Renee Good shooting was falling apart. CBS gave them the credibility to put it back together.

Canada should send at least 1 Halifax class frigate & 1 Harry DeWolf class Arctic & Offshore Patrol Vessel to the Labrador Sea & Baffin Bay areas.
Station some CF-18s in Gander so they can patrol further to the North East & return to Canada.
Gripens could do that too.
F-35s - nope.
Denmark confirms an expanded, more permanent Danish and NATO military presence in and around Greenland, beginning today. Deployments span land, sea, and air, including protection of critical infrastructure, fighter jets, and naval operations. Sweden has committed forces; other NATO allies may follow

I wonder if PM Carney and the Liberal Parry of Canada will invite the architects of Mamdani’s plan to their next Cabinet meeting like they did the for Trump’s Project 2025.

The other thing about normalizing gAI use in higher ed is that we are teaching our students that they cannot trust their own creativity, their own thoughts and brains, their own skills without having it reshaped/shellacked/transmogrified by LLMs. We’re setting them up for failure and dependence.
