4 Lakota men were kidnapped by ICE in Minneapolis. 3 of them were taken to what used to be a concentration camp for Native people, and the only people talking about it are other Indigenous people. I am angry but mostly numb, I am so used to this at this point. We are always forgotten.

i think this year i want to learn more anishinaabemowin. i used to love learning as much vocabulary as i could in the little native american lessons i would get pulled into during the school day because there was just enough funding for one lesson every two weeks

Pow Wow Grounds coffee shop, which regularly becomes a community hub when Minneapolis is in need, are still in need. People doing ICE watch/rapid response are using it to organize, rest, and refuel. Often for free when people donate food and coffee, for those who can't afford to buy from the shop

Second Harvest is one of the suppliers for Joyce Uptown Foodshelf (joyceuptownfoodshelf.org), who I volunteer with. Joyce is referring shoppers to a local church making deliveries to those who can't leave their homes. Whoever you donate money or time to in the chain, they're helping South Mpls.
