Interesting to see so many great British patriots right now begging an American president to bankrupt one of Britain’s last remaining truly national institutions.

The rule of law for whom?

Private equity managers taxed at lower rates.

NHS drugs prices be hiked by 25% to appease companies.

Bankers' bonus cap abolished.

Chancellor ready to override Supreme Court judgment, cut compensation to victims of car loan scandals.

Bank frauds not investigated.
Nothing will change until the political system is freed from the clutches of corporations and the super-rich
The law is being used to enforce existing power structures for the benefit of the few

I had my disagreements with the BBC under Tim Davie but he was a decent man doing a difficult job.

To see Trump's White House claiming credit for his downfall and attacking the BBC should worry us all.

Had an article in the works on this for weeks (hopefully out in coming weeks (the downside of being freelance)). Agree that lack of coverage (in front pages too) is an issue. It's so directly related to a high-profile club and by extension their group of clubs that football shouldn't ignore it.

The bias of the BBC& MSM??
Lets put BBC’s obsession with 4 prisoners at large freed in error into perspective👇🏼👇🏼

Feb 2024 the Met Police had 15,000+ warrants for criminals at large That’s 15K criminals they hadn’t caught or escaped other forces have 1,000’s too

BBC said nothing

Only now Labour are in Govt 4 are important❗️🤷🏼‍♂️
At least four prisoners freed in error still at large, BBC told
The government is under increasing pressure after a number of high-profile wrong releases.

Awful lot of people seem to think houses used to fall off trees, jobs were well paid and lovely, people were lovely to each other, and everyone could afford holidays every day.

Of course life isn't perfect now. But it never was. And in many ways it is much better.
