Lawyer in the labor movement. As seen on Twitter.
Pretty crazy that Prince Andrew was arrested for Epstein revelations before any American CEO or politician.

Nothing to see here. They're just hanging out. Just like they were off the coast of Venezuela.

The "rule of law" has always existed to benefit those in power. But it has become a lot more mask off under Trump.
1. DHS surges 3,000 officers to Minneapolis without doing anywhere near enough prep first.
2. Hundreds of habeas cases overwhelm local courts.
3. Dozens of DOJ lawyers quit in disgust/anger.
4. The DOJ brings in JAGs to cover.
5. A JAG was just held in contempt and fined $500/day for ICE's failures.

Starting to think Kristi Noem deserves to die in prison.
starting to get the feeling that Kristi Noem will not in fact win the 2028 presidential election

Abolish the Supreme Court.
One thing that's important to realize now is that, even in a scenario where Dems sweep to a crushing trifecta in 2028, Republicans will use their control of the courts to attempt to continue, as much as they can, to run executive agencies in exile, with DHS/ICE under Biden as the model

A media actually interested in holding power to account would be all over the new revelations about Kathy Ruemmler. Ruemmler was a personal lawyer for Obama, Clinton, and Susan Rice as well as Obama's WH counsel. This email exchange is Epstein inviting Clinton to meet with Ehud Barak & Steve Bannon.

Hunter S. Thompson wrote this a week after 9/11 and I think of it almost every single day.

Reading about the Harriet Tubman's and John Brown's of the world is as close as I've come to a spiritual experience. Just a complete depth of devotion to a justice they would never live to experience. Impossible to truly embrace without being overcome by emotion.
Reading American history will break your heart a thousand times but it will also fill you with such admiration and awe for all the people who were excluded from the protection of America’s founding principles and fought to promote, protect and expand them anyways

I'm sorry but this is why we will just have to take it from them.

Obama is a war criminal who belongs in the Hague next to George W. Bush and Donald Trump.
The Obama’s get a standing ovation at the NBA all star game. How I miss these two!

That sure is a lot of due process for people who absolutely do not believe in due process.
Every ICE officer who has broken the law should be arrested, tried, and imprisoned for their crimes.

We should [redacted] every warehouse ICE is buying to turn into concentration camps. It's the right thing to do and they can't stop all of us.

Obama was unconstitutionally murdering people with drone strikes before it was cool.

Our job is to slow down the meat grinder however possible.

The quiet part here that we all need to say out loud is that Obama oversaw a foreign policy and immigrant detention regime that is just as rogue as anything we've seen under Trump. Federal law enforcement has always been rogue. Obama contributed to this moment. He didn't prevent it.
Obama: "The rogue behavior of agents of the federal government is deeply concerning and dangerous ... the sort of behavior that we've seen in authoritarian countries and we've seen in dictatorships, but we have not seen in America."

Trying to steal something from the louvre and just being like "fuck it I'll guess" and trying "louvre" and it working is the funniest shit imaginable.
Every time someone’s like “put that in the louvre,” my head now goes “and then steal it from the louvre, the security password is louvre”

It's crazy to by all accounts win the election and the narrative coming out of it and then immediately cave for nothing at all. These people are so incompetent.

It's actually stunning that he was able to be more cringe worthy and racist than Hillary's "hot sauce in my bag" moment but he clears it easily.

MTG is awful in more ways than I can count, but she does happen to be a normal person as compared to all the lawyer-pipeline Ivy grads in Congress. She’s a bigoted crank, but like the kind your aunt is friends with on Facebook.
👀 Marjorie Taylor Greene breaks with Republicans on Obamacare funding, saying she’s not a fan of the law but demands action to prevent a premium hike. “I’m absolutely disgusted that health insurance premiums will DOUBLE if the tax credits expire this year.” She says GOP leaders don’t have a plan.
