Lawyer in the labor movement. As seen on Twitter.
Trying to steal something from the louvre and just being like "fuck it I'll guess" and trying "louvre" and it working is the funniest shit imaginable.
Every time someone’s like “put that in the louvre,” my head now goes “and then steal it from the louvre, the security password is louvre”

It's crazy to by all accounts win the election and the narrative coming out of it and then immediately cave for nothing at all. These people are so incompetent.

It's actually stunning that he was able to be more cringe worthy and racist than Hillary's "hot sauce in my bag" moment but he clears it easily.
“Kraft macaroni n cheesee — dis how I grew up bro!… every day in the backyard bouncing the basketball… it saved me and it got me into college.”

Hopefully this is true because it feels pretty dark right now.

MTG is awful in more ways than I can count, but she does happen to be a normal person as compared to all the lawyer-pipeline Ivy grads in Congress. She’s a bigoted crank, but like the kind your aunt is friends with on Facebook.
👀 Marjorie Taylor Greene breaks with Republicans on Obamacare funding, saying she’s not a fan of the law but demands action to prevent a premium hike. “I’m absolutely disgusted that health insurance premiums will DOUBLE if the tax credits expire this year.” She says GOP leaders don’t have a plan.

Feels like red state national guards invading blue states is going to be one of those turning point moments when we look back when this is all over.

Abolish ICE should be seen as the sensible and moderate position at this point.

Honestly, fair.
Don Bongino desperately misses the attention that comes with being an online shitposter and is bored to death having a real job. If he resigns, that's why.

Andrew Yang must be so mad that Elon Musk stole his whole thing but with money behind it and a chance people actually take it seriously.

This kind of shit will never be popular and they will lose in November if Democrats can actually make the case against this horrific bill. Which should be easy.
BLITZER: Are you comfortable with millionaires getting additional tax breaks?

McCLAIN: I believe people are better stewards of their money than the federal government

Democrats have always loved their leadership in my lifetime. Even when they really shouldn't. This seems important.

Juneteenth is a holiday genuinely worth celebrating and it sucks that it reached mainstream recognition just as fascism did because it seems like there was a golden era there where celebrating the end of slavery would have been an easy one for almost everyone.

I've seen thousands of people manhandled like Senator Padilla was but that was the first time I've seen it done to a senator.
Padilla: I was forced to the ground, first on my knees and then flat on my chest. And as I was handcuffed and marched down a hallway repeatedly asking, why am I being detained? Not once did they tell me why. I pray you never have a moment like this

Biden should have done more to protect immigrants from Trump.

There have been several times in the last few years where a conservative will wave awkwardly and someone will screen capture and say it’s a Nazi salute.

This is… not that. Straight up Sieg Heil.
Elon Musk gave two back to back Nazi salutes at the Trump inauguration parade

It feels pretty damning that Biden and Harris were there to pass the baton after spending months rightfully warning of fascism.
It all feels like a family with a genuinely abusive family member choosing to just carry on with the holiday traditions, hoping to create normalcy through sheer will and denial.

There were a lot of unsettling moments today so far but I think every single tech billionaire showing out for Trump is top of the list.

Trump won Zoomers and is going to try and keep them with Republicans. This is probably the most effective thing he could do in service of that.
