Really, it’s a wonder I don’t get trapped in a loop just constantly thinking about Punxsutawney Phil’s lore.

One home. Hundreds (if not thousands) to go.
Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning.

Liam is now home. With his hat and his backpack.

They definitely let Grok write the requirements for this without supervision, didn’t they.
X is hiring a creative writing specialist at $40 an hour to make Grok better at writing and a true LOL at the qualifications

You know how deeply beloved someone is when everyone has a deeply personal tribute and they’re all focused on an entirely different thing.
Catherine O'Hara, the actor and comedian best known for "Home Alone," "Beetlejuice" and "Schitt's Creek," has died at the age of 71.

She died at her home in Los Angeles "following a brief illness," her agency said in a statement.

An underrated reason that higher ed should not structured as leveraged individual investments in marketable skills. It's pro-cyclical and on a lag!
I feel genuinely awful for all those kids who got told to get computer science degrees they weren’t actually that passionate about over the last decade, only to get completely walloped on the job market due to the AI craze among executives.

"Is this the five year old in the hat or a different five year old?" is really not a question I should find myself asking.
Here is the child’s drawing.

Defenceless under the night
Our world in stupor lies;
Yet, dotted everywhere,
Ironic points of light
Flash out wherever the Just
Exchange their messages:
May I, composed like them
Of Eros and of dust,
Beleaguered by the same
Negation and despair,
Show an affirming flame.

This would be disastrously bad for universities in Florida and the state as a whole. The Board is essentially handpicked by DeSantis so the odds of this passing are high.

As the article notes, The proposal also forbids discrimination based on national origin, which is some cognitive dissonance.

Seriously, @people.com has been meeting the moment better than 90% of publications with direct reporting and crystal clear headlines.

This is a good way for the low-information voters who are usually detached from the news cycle to get turned around.

Anyone who finds this casting a reason to pearl-clutch clearly doesn’t know anything about the show.
So apparently Dylan Mulvaney got cast in a Broadway musical... which resulted in transphobes losing their minds and threatening to "Bud Light" the show... and now the show's Twitter page is locked down. Cool cool.

I am deeply confused why everyone (at least on Instagram) suddenly seems nostalgic for 2016. Have we forgotten how badly we just wanted it to be over and for everyone we liked to stop dying by December? Or is it just a measure of how people are feeling now that we'd prefer that?
