The Death Star board room scene is low key the funniest scene in cinematic history. It’s a work meeting with an evil samurai wizard everyone else finds mildly annoying and when his manager tells him to stop killing a coworker with his magicka, he has to listen.

I am incredibly pleased to say that I did a story with @bailierosenlund.bsky.social about teen trans witches for Tiny Onion's MONSTERS IN LOVE: A PRIDE ANTHOLOGY! I am so happy with how this story turned out and I can't wait for you to read it!

"Mills is completely unelectable" please ignore the two state wide elections she's won already? his "logic" is some bubbling nonsense about her being "libertarian" even though she expanded medicaid and embraced aggressive state action to fight climate change
Shame what's going on in Maine, Planter's questionable past and Mills is completely unelectable. Squandered opportunity as Collins gets a free pass to reelection.

Anyway, I held off on actually adding @janetmillsforme.bsky.social to my U.S. Senate fundraising page for several months, but eventually decided to go ahead and do so.

If Platner *does* win the primary I'll decide how to deal with it then.

Donate to Mills today.

One of the under-appreciated side effects of being raised Jewish is we never think it can’t happen to us.
WHY???? WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU THINK IT WOULDN’T HAPPEN TO YOU??????
The headline if you search for news on this is literally “We never thought this would happen to us!”

Mark Ruffalo and Javier Bardem are probably very happy to be described as "cultural icons" for the first time in their lives, maybe less so in the context of agreeing with a mass-murdering terrorist organization. But, hey, that's the price of being morally bankrupt.

so anyway, here's a senior writer for Wired claiming that a decidedly anti ICE statement from Schumer is somehow proof that he's pro ICE. someone please tell me how to get a job being a writer while always claiming that up is down and black is white because that gig sounds fun.

My position is that I do not intend to vote for Gavin Newsom in a Democratic primary, that I would vote for any Democrat against JD Vance in a general election, and that Hasan Piker is both an idiot and a bad person.

Unpopular opinion:

Don't wish the neon orange sack of sedition and syphilis dead.

Why?

B/c Vance would be worse: the same racism, same dangerous policies, but not easily sidetracked from said policies by shiny objects like promising to name train stations after him or offering fake peace prizes.

This is such a common trope in Slavic culture that hedgehog characters in like cartoons and stuff always have apples on their backs in the same way cartoon mice always collect cheese
It was believed in medieval times that hedgehogs had spikes so they could roll over fruit to carry home to their children, which is not true but is a really cute idea

A cartoon that quite literally changed my life, heartbroken that it will no longer be easily accessible to the greater public.
This week is your last chance to watch (or rewatch) She-Ra and the Princesses of Power before Netflix deletes it on 20th Feb.

One of my favourite shows - animated or otherwise - of the last ten years.

putting the white nazi-curious never-elected-to-anything failson in the center and embiggened is...a choice
A base that has long made pragmatic, sober decisions appears increasingly attracted to charismatic outsiders who promise to break from the party’s failures of the last decade. They see their party’s leaders as feckless and inept.

It’s the Democratic Tea Party, with a twist. trib.al/mC5cBDA
