So SCOTUS, with its fabricated-out-of-thin-air immunity doctrine, has actually made American presidents less accountable than LITERAL royalty.
Seems there is a few possible origins, but one I remember was relating to 16th/17 century court portraits as important men were often depicted feminine/ delicate with the dangling wrist pose being popular
Then that fell out of favour and somehow men being seen as feminine got negative connotations?
