Pour ceux qui n'ont pas suivi, au Muskdor ils ont ajouté un crachats à la gueule des artistes en mettant un bouton Éditer l'image à toutes les images publiées. Ça enlève les watermark et modifie le contenu selon le souhait du salopard qui veut s'essuyer les pieds sur la composition d'autrui

Du coup y'a pas plus bel exemple du capitalisme que le loup d'intermarché. Utiliser des petites mains pour créer un produit d'appel et une hype fait main éphémère puis les dégager pour se faire un fric monstre très rapidement à peu cher dessus en saturant le marché

As someone who does a lot of procedural generation, it really saddens me how it's sometimes being conflated with GenAI now. How many babies are going to get thrown with the bathwater because of OpenAI and their bullshit?
The confusion and conflation of ‘generative ai that is built on stolen artwork’ and ‘machine learning, character behaviour modelling and proc gen’ is intentional on the part of the grifters peddling the former. They benefit from murkiness of classification, because the latter predates their bollocks
