The food pantry I volunteer at just served more than double the average number of families tonight. People are already in major need, people are already hungry. It's going to get so bad and politicians don't actually care. They don't see the faces of the people affected so it's just numbers to them

When you live with comforts for long enough, you forget what it was like before the comforts. My grandma knew many people who had polio and would tell me stories about friends of hers getting it, now we have people thinking those were just the sickly weak people, not perfectly healthy kids

I’m so tired of hearing Rubio & other rightwingers now claiming that if you’re on a green card you’re a ‘guest’ in this country. BS. You’re a lawful permanent resident. The clue is in the name. If someone is a permanent resident in your home, are they the same as the guests who come and go? Come on.
