I feel like the last couple decades of "is representation good or not?" discourse missed more important questions of "how fragile is representation?", "what do we do when multiple industries eliminate it as an intentional move against us?" and "how can we sustain queer artists when shit goes south?"
"According to the report, [...]during the 2024-25 television season, queer characters increased across platforms by 4%, bringing the total to 489. However, the Thursday report found that 41% of those characters will not return." www.thewrap.com/glaad-where-...

Amassing and hoarding wealth for the sake of it is the most disgusting, vile thing a person can do in a world filled with suffering that can be alleviated with money. People who aim to be mega-rich are immoral, unethical, and we shouldn't celebrate them or their pursuit. Shame rich people more.
That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.
Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

impossible to overstate the degree to which we are being governed by people whose formative politics is gamergate, but DHS posting Halo memes to recruit for ICE is pretty close.

We need a universal hand signal for "Why the fuck did you not use your turn signal. Now, to me, you are less than a worm. You have endangered everyone here with your negligence and self-asbsorption. A thousand curses upon you." and no, a thumbs down/middle finger does not convey this sufficiently.

personally i think it's understandable for video games to be expensive but if they're expensive they need to be good and the people who make them need to get paid and treated well
