Cabinet Office minister Josh Simons commissioned PR firm to investigate journalists and their sources

Why? Because they were digging into the dark money behind Labour Together, and Keir Starmer's rise

Baroness Finn, stating that this would "risk a disproportionate intrusion into civil society", asks minister to confirm that the "current arrangements" will not change, but gets a strong response from Anderson:

When Mandelson finally ends up in Wandsworth, will they be serving guacamole?

Hearing more revelations about Mandelson, I can't help wondering if the police have pulled in his computers B4 he gets a chance to edit. Surely HMRC, MI5, MI6, Scotland Yard would all have an interest! Considering his contacts with Russian, American & other millionaires. Oh wait

Listening to Priti Patel on LBC, it's not difficult to recognise why the Conservative Party was kicked out of government and their world view is an ill conceived concept.

With the US president saying Nato/British troops stayed "off the front line" in Afghanistan, Nigel Farage won't want British voters being reminded that he called Donald Trump "the bravest man I have ever met."

Trump defiles the memory and sacrifice by thousands of individuals from NATO countries. He was a stain on the US when he belittled American veterans, now he spreads his falsehoods and smears on its friends.

The BBC has confirmed it won’t air its documentary on Gaza’s medics. I know some of the journalists involved and they’re absolutely excellent. This statement is mealy-mouthed; you can’t “both sides” the facts on the ground of a genocide, and there’s a clear public interest in documenting those facts
