Since we're re-litigating Ring's sins: How did they grow so fast?

Until 2016, Ring gave out free/discounted cameras to police & giving cops perks if the public (including victims of crimes) used the officer's discount code to buy cameras--all of which meant Ring essentially made cops salespeople.

They're building concentration camps with my tax money Chuck. They're torturing children. They're murdering innocent people on the street. What are you doing.
Our DHS reform demands are exceedingly reasonable.

We're asking ICE to do nothing more than follow the standards that the vast majority of law enforcement agencies already follow.

Another classic post-Homan day where around school dismissal time we get a flurry of ICE vehicles all across our neighborhoods. Today one vehicle led an observer to their own home and pointed at it. This is a sick game to them, but we won’t be intimidated and we won’t stop until DHS is abolished.

ICE has now spent over half a BILLION dollars just on purchasing warehouses around the country to convert into detention camps.

If these mega-camps are utilized to the full capacity ICE intends, they'll be the largest prisons in the country, with little real oversight. www.ajc.com/politics/202...

This is, to a large extent, a self-inflicted budget crisis triggered by a the most recent round of approved salary increases for LAPD officers.

Those salary increases, agreed upon by Bass + city leadership, triggered a cascading set of predictable consequences. This is one of them.
I don't really see a lot of reporting reminding everyone about this, but residents of Los Angeles should know that, as part of our broke-ass city budget negotiations, many LA city workers are being forced to take an unpaid holiday today, the first of five such days planned for this year
