Hello world~

I write story ideas with a focus for setting and characters. My passions are many, but mostly I focus on the following, in no particular order:

> screenwriting
> ttrpgs
> science fiction
> urban design
> graffiti
> cassette futurism
> mecha & military
> physical security
Drop an album that was important to you when you were nineteen

Archive – Controlling Crowds

Captured a lot of the angst and cynicism I was feeling at that age. Very cathartic and cool cyberpunky vibes, the first album I listened to in one go. One of my all-time favorites

Last May, Christian nationalist org Her Voice Movement rallied the far right in Seattle’s historic LGBT district

Seattle PD collaborated with them, adopted their derogatory language, arrested 23 protestors, and afterward threatened to abandon community dialogue efforts

That’s a hell of a follow-up

This is merely just shuffling pieces on the chessboard. Let the press move on and pull the story out of the spotlight

Just like in CA, the kidnappings have continued—in the streets, at the courts. Keep up the organizing even when the national cameras move elsewhere

Solidarity w/MN, it all sucks

Saw Iron Lung last night! Gut feeling is I wanna give this four stars.

Hate it or glaze it, here’s my bottom line: not a flawless performance, but horror is such a difficult genre to write for, and in terms of Markiplier writing/directing/acting, yes, he and his crew DELIVER.

This morning, I wrote about struggling under the weight of this moment and offered a few reflections on why it's important to still seek out joy and rest in the midst of our feverish struggle. Don't let the burnout getcha, folks, we have a world to win.

What we should really be hoping for with respect to Discord is for people to wake up to what a lot of folks have been saying for a long while now:

Centralization is a poison for the public Internet; and decentralizing our online experience should become a priority, no matter how many apps it needs.

Baffled by transphobes insisting that the name on your birth certificate is Your True Name Forever when it was common in my grandparents' generation to just...pick a name you like and use that, nbd. I literally found out both of my grandma's birth certificate first names FROM THEIR OBITUARIES.

1. This is how the fucking Super Bowl is going to go: Patriots win the toss and defer, the Seahawks are going to get the ball at like the 35. They're going to be playing up tempo in their opening script, JSN is going to go into motion and burn Gonzo on the smoothest

Moreover, ICE must be destroyed

Here’s my package from last night in Los Angeles. Found the SRT (Special Response Team, CBP tactical unit) presence to be particularly annoying and focused mostly on that while filming. These guys inflamed tensions when it wasn’t necessary. The victim is doing alright, from last I heard.

i don't particularly disagree with a lot of the critiques of anarchist activism by liberals but I bristle when they act as if their best practices are any wiser. we're here because none of us figured out how to avoid being here.

everyone should have some goddamn humility.

Bare Necessities (Expanded from a 2019 (!?) version)

A (not so small) thread on the HK pro-democracy movement's '5 Demands' - what they are, how they've evolved, and ... a bunch of stuff that would interest no one but me.

The number one movie in America is a YouTuber's self-funded passion project with no expectation of a financial return.

The vanity project documentary of the first lady, directed by a pedophile in the Epstein files, has 11% on Rotten Tomatoes and is losing millions at the box office.

Markiplier’s ’IRON LUNG’ was #1 domestically on its opening day with $9M.

The film has already made at least 3X its production budget.

With all these ‘look at HK’ posts flying around, I thought I’d offer you this from 2019 - a picture of a cop falling flat on his face, based on a real photo sans goose. May it bring warmth in these cold days. Add oil!
Came across this the other day while digging. Forgot we had a whole series of naughty goose protest art. Am rooting for the goose. Happy holidays!

The entry of the state into every sphere, both public and private, is one of the defining characteristics of totalitarianism
I’m not sure people outside the Twin Cites realize the prevalence and the fear ICE is causing in Twin Cities. They are dining undercover pretending to be couples at restaurants, they are going to businesses and checking the license plates of cars to find employees. Every public place is compromised.
