Rpgmaker.net coming back online is very significant, as a whole generation of 2000s and 2010s indie games was contextless and nearly lost without it.

I’ve said this before but you gotta stop describing mid/boring/bad media as “looks like AI.” Unless it was actually used in the development of the thing, we absolutely do not need to be blurring this line between bad decision making, and functionally no decision making.

This is true, but as it's also opening up a lot of "men would NEVER experience this!" & "only WOMEN have to deal with pushback based on how we look!" comments, casual reminder that trans & nonbinary men deal with this too & it compounds for trans and nonbinary men of color.
As more and more creators are expected to be on camera to promote their comics, can we talk for a second about how this opens up female creators to intense harassment about their looks?
Not to mention a lot of "You only have a career in comics because you're good looking" comments?

I'm pretty sure I need glasses. I wish that our "free" canadian healthcare considered eyes and teeth to be things that, as part of our bodies, require specific care worthy of paying for, because I sure as shit cannot currently afford an eye exam even if I go the cheap online route for glasses.
