Legal US residents from around the country are being arrested and flown to concentration camps in places like El Paso. Those who manage to find legal help, get a court hearing and get released are released outside the camps, often thousands of miles from home, with only the clothes on their backs.

This completely misses the point of the statement. She wasn't saying "we stole this land" (true though that might be of our ancestors); she was saying that "the descendants of Europeans have no more right to be here than anyone else." In both readings, Mexicans certainly belong.
