Even if the ruling is unfavorable, they can nuke the filibuster and implement it legislatively. Having those votes on record (if there are enough) would be even worse for congressional Rs.

This is the manifestation of 'everyone is 12 now' on the left. You want Nordic levels of social spending financed by rate hikes on like 1000 guys? Yeah, that math checks out if you're 12.
We do not get universal healthcare by raising taxes on a handful of billionaires. We do not decarbonize the economy by telling 100 companies to stop shooting CO2 into the atmosphere. Good things have costs, and I'm sorry to say some of those costs will fall on you!
