IIRC the new map only gets Cuellar, Casar and Gonzalez's districts to something like R+10 relative to the 2024 presidential margin. Not a tiny gap, but in this environment...

A Democratic trifecta could expand the House and force single multi-member districts with proportional representation, as close as we could get to a parliamentary system without amending the Constitution. Of course, this will never happen if third parties split the left vote! First things first.

The potential good news (for decarbonization, at least) is that there are like three major manufacturers of gas turbines and they're all skittish about investing in new capacity, so it's getting a lot harder to get projects in cheap and on time.
