I just observed the eclipse using a pinhole camera and a pair of binoculars oriented backwards!
Not the best. It was hard holding binocs & cardboard w/ hole in it & taking pics at the same time.
But when you don't have a telescope, these will do!

Man not to go on and on with this but it’s really worth it to watch the actual clip of where the Miyazaki quote comes from just to see AI guys get asked “why are you doing this?” and seeing them having to grapple morally with it for the first time ever.
