“It is time to acknowledge what has become tragically obvious: the Trump administration is operating as a massive criminal enterprise.”

This absolutely captures it. Instead of "Trump Administration," we should say "Trump Syndicate."

Why would federal prosecutors in 2019 tell authorities in New Mexico to stop their investigation into Epstein and Zorro Ranch?
New Mexico is pursuing long-overdue answers by investigating Jeffrey Epstein’s Zorro Ranch through a new subcommittee that was just created by the New Mexico House.

I’ve got the details, including why the state’s AG’s Office stopped investigating Epstein back in 2019.

Trump added $12.5T to the debt in one term—over a third of all U.S. debt racked up by 44 other presidents combined.

That’s not “fiscal conservatism,” it’s a demolition job on our future.

Elimination of emissions standards was one of the pretty clear policy stakes of the 2024 election and it received about 1% as much coverage as whether Tim Walz retiring from the national guard after 21 years was cowardly.
“The U.S. no longer has emission standards of any meaning,” said Margo T. Oge, who served as the E.P.A.’s top vehicle emissions regulator under three presidents and has since advised both automakers and environmental groups…

“Nothing. Zero,” she added. “Not many countries have zero.”

Medicare for All would save $450B a year.

Every dollar spent on food stamps generates $1.50-$1.80 in economic activity.

Each dollar going to low-wage workers adds $1.20 to the economy overall.

It’s not about what this country can or can’t afford.

It’s about priorities.
