My partner and I were talking a few days ago about how the endgame core message of "girl boss" and "hussle" culture is just a commercial excitedly telling you that, "you too can own a slave!" and ever since then every single advertisement hits differently. Especially the "productivity" focused ads.

I have a friend who was laid off
from her job in DEI a few months
ago and had to move out of her
apartment into a relative's home
and now that relative has made
the home feel unwelcome to her.

During Ferguson the white folks we worked with did active anti racism work with other whites and taught from the pov that whites are inherently racist from the jump.
