I'm noticing with the gay pride flag b-52 debate that non american people and gay people are getting used as cudgels in arguments to punch down at anyone assumed to have not voted blue (so like, any leftist)
and then when a person is like "oh hey i dont actually condone that"

I have a friend who was laid off
from her job in DEI a few months
ago and had to move out of her
apartment into a relative's home
and now that relative has made
the home feel unwelcome to her.
Shes gay & Black and has been
relentlessly applying to jobs but
has not had any luck for months.

During Ferguson the white folks we worked with did active anti racism work with other whites and taught from the pov that whites are inherently racist from the jump.
Didn’t matter who your friends were, your parents, what Black ppl you used to know. They started at “no, you’re racist. Let’s talk”
