The core of the argument is Bsky silently removing user data/posts, seemingly for personal reasons. If that were true, it would have been an outrageous breach of trust and fundamentally call into question Bsky as custodians of the primary Atproto node.
But it was not, not ever, true.

The post was not deleted then, and once she found out nothing of the sort happened she couldโve deleted this baseless claim and chose not to.

We all would like to have a good website to inhabit but apparently the choices are a) nazis (+more nazis), technologists, half the artists and b) the most insufferably online people, Facebook libs and the other half of artists. Both options are unpleasant but at least bsky recognizes the problem.

Iโm sure Bluesky has, as an open protocol, a way of viewing the feed for a particular user, and that wouldโve dispelled any claims that a post was deleted. Auto-hiding a post based on reports (which is seemingly what happened) is not the same as deletion and not a malicious action itโs portrayed as.

The contention is entirely outside of this, I agree. My gripe is with alleging actual malpractice and explicit infringement upon the agreement between a platform-holder and user where thereโs been none, in service of further pouring fire upon an unrelated debate.
