The news is just awful. I’m sending virtual love and hugs to all those affected by all the horseshittery happening. And also posting this pic of my adorable retired racing greyhound in his frog jammies. Because we love frogs. 🐸 (He’d love you to read the alt text on his pic, too.)

And this is why I know the Democratic Party is dying. There is an obvious answer to our current moment, and they don’t want to take it because choosing it will foreclose the politics that they profit from.
We’re getting so much empty, stupid, outrageous corruption and I just want a Democratic Party that says, “Enough.” That’s a full sentence!
Democrats should run the most aggressive, brutal, unrestricted anti-corruption campaign in history. Fuck all the big money, just go hard at the wealthy like you’ll never win them over. Because you won’t.

And we knew this. This wasn't speculation. We studied it, we had the talking points. We trained volunteers to explain this to people. It's not a surprise. Rich people don't flee places with good quality of life when we increase the quality of life. They might try to cheat us, but they don't leave.
NEW: The first two years of Massachusetts' millionaire tax has raised $3 billion more than expected.

And rather than driving the rich away, IPS researchers found that the number of millionaires has *increased.*

Tax the rich. Greg Ryan in @bloomberg.com:
Millionaire Tax That Inspired Mamdani Fuels $5.7 Billion Haul in Massachusetts
A millionaire levy in Massachusetts that New York City mayoral frontrunner Zohran Mamdani holds up as a model for taxing the rich has generated $3 billion more in revenue than expected without forcing...

My daughter is 15, a child with a baby face whom I won’t even put in an Uber by herself. Just utterly disgusting from the same people who have spent years demonizing trans people as predators for daring even to exist. What are we even doing right now?

It’s been 14 months without you and I still manage to be surprised by my grief when a photo memory pops up on my phone. My sweet Leeta, you’ll always be missed. ❤️

AOC: "It is unconscionable that what we are debating right now is legislation that will give 8 senators over $1 million a piece & we're robbing people of their food assistance & healthcare to pay for it. How can we vote to enrich ourselves by stealing from the American people?"

But *their* emails?
Can we circle back to the part where the NY Times never disclosed that they have incriminating information on Donald Trump from sent by Epstein that's been sitting on their email servers for nearly a decade?
Stuff like this makes me wonder why there hasn't been any reporting about Trump having affairs during his presidencies

👀
Fucking yikes
Jeffrey Epstein advised Steve Bannon that the lawyers representing Brett Kavanaugh in his confirmation hearing should accuse Christine Blasey Ford of being on medications that cause false memories or memory loss.

Seriously @safety.bsky.app this is some fascist bullsh!t. #FreeSarah
Aw hell naw, this is nonsense
Bluesky finally gave her an explanation for the suspension and it’s bullshit
November 12, 2025 at 11:01 PM
Absolutely this
My takeaway from every new Epstein revelation is that some powerful people victimized many powerless young women, many more knew, some actively enabled it--and we're still being told that MeToo and accountability for sexual violence have gone too far

The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.
so currently defectors are:

Kaine (2030)
Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
Durbin (Retiring)
CCM (2028)
Rosen (2030)
King (2030)

My family has been without half our income for 40 days. It has been.. very hard.

We are willing to feel that pain so people can have health care next year, or to undo these illegal recissions.

We are not willing to have been put through this for NOTHING.

The arrogance of a Senator who is not even running again to take the lead in undermining the Caucus and the voters.
Shaheen: So let me be clear. No one in the senate chamber wants to extend the ACA tax credits more than I do.

Schumer & Jeffries should have the integrity to resign from their positions in leadership. They've failed, badly. Either they cannot control their caucuses or they're lying & secretly pushed this vote through behind the scenes.

Either way, their betrayal of the American people is indefensible.

Yet another reminder why I’m no longer a registered Dem. GD cowards, the lot of them.
The original Dem demands were:
1) Permanent ACA subsidies
2) Medicaid funding restored
3) No more blank checks for the regime (rescission)

They dropped Medicaid immediately. Went silent on rescission. Cut back to 1 year of subsidies on Friday. And surrendered today.

The Senate Democrats!

One point worth emphasizing here: The punditry has been saying Sherrill (and Spanberger) represent the sane centrist wing of the party versus the left. Well, okay, but here Sherrill is urging more fight. Again, the results show that anti-Trump + affordability can *unite* the party. This shows how.
This is really good to see: Miki Sherrill just put out a statement sharply criticizing the Senate Dems' pending cave in the government shutdown, ripping it as "malpractice" and a betrayal of the people who are "counting on us to fight for them." Sherrill knows what drove her victory. Wake up, Dems.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

Co-f%cking-sign Kevin’s comments. Any Dem who believes in ‘a promise of a vote’ on healthcare by R’s deserves to lose their job at the next opportunity and I will work like hell to make it happen in PA and beyond!
