Imo it's bad that the US government now operates as a crudely extractive mercantile state because the dumbest people on earth think doing so is macho, and the entirely predictable consequence of this will be a mass rearmament in countries already facing anaemic growth and fraying social contracts.

I've enjoyed all of them but I was immediately compelled by the Motorman excerpt to rewind and hear it again.
