I thought the whole 'I asked chatgpt' thing was just a joke on tumblr, but no ppl really do use it, mostly on fb in the comments (at least that's what I've seen) like in response to a post they will type: I asked chatgpt and it agreed with me that you were wrong.
lmao what? but also *deep sigh*

this film is going to be like 90% CGI... so don't forget that these "live action" adaptations are still animated movies, they're really just there to exploit non-unionized VFX animator labour, because 3d character animators are unionized and can't be taken advantage of so easily
welp, "live action" how to train your dragon made a lot of money, I'm sure this one will too, it's basically the same thing just more textures and occasionally people up close are visibly real actors

There are actors that, when they come onscreen, you’re delighted to see them and immediately assured that whatever you’re about to watch is gonna be worthwhile, mine is Jared Harris what’s yours
I don’t know if there’s a more perfect illustration of the utter fucking nonsense that creative pollution by AI will produce than this choice to illustrate the power of Paramount’s new “localization” and “customization” technology by face-swapping Brad Pitt into the lead role of GET OUT

It's because focusing on old white women being cringe was enough to completely discredit the massive Me Too march, even leftists I know ate that up and considered it all a knit pussy hat wearing joke. Remember how Occupy Wall Street was all entitled lazy millennials? They do this every time
Not sure why the focus is on middle aged women at the No Kings rallies. From my observation, there is a healthy mix of young and old. But maybe the reason there are so many middle aged women protesting is because we see the future and it looks a lot like the past we struggled to overcome.

I feel like this photo of masked, armed men pepper spraying a pastor protecting his community is going to be a defining picture of this moment in America for a long, long time.

Hocus Pocus. Wasn't allowed to watch it as a kid and feel like it's one of those nostalgia movies. It's loved by the ppl who grew up with it, but overall looks like nothing special.
Inspired by a post I just saw in which someone admitted they hadn’t seen a single episode of Friends nor the film Love Actually… what cultural hole do you have that’s a bit weird for your generation?
I’ll go first: I haven’t seen Dirty Dancing.

Anyway, just had to write down my grumblings after going through my Instagram stories and seeing every white woman in their 30s and 40s posting about "that album"
