FF6. Celes on the Floating Continent. One of my favorite scenes in a video game.

I’m very pleased with DQ1-2 HD Remake so far. DQ1 feels like a fresh new game with the new story beats and sets of characters. Definitely a more lived-in world and with more connections to both DQ3 and DQ2.
I also got to spend 3 hours fighting in a dog suit. And there are so many cats to pet

I bought my Dreamcast used in 2001 (bad timing, I know) with Sonic Adventure, which I finished, and Blue Stinger, which I did not. It became a fighting game and RPG machine for me with Soul Calibur, MvC2, Grandia II, and my second favorite game of all time, Skies of Arcadia.
I miss it.

I have reached over stage 50 in regular-fire Galaga and 200+ in rapid fire, but for the first 2 years I can remember being around arcade games the dive-bombing noises scared the hell out of me. (1/2)

Even if you're not feeling down about yourself, asking for attention is no crime. I love receiving praise. I love hyping up my friends.
Because our brains are wired to focus on threats, negative comments land a bigger punch than compliments. We need lots of the good stuff to outweigh the bad.

As an asexual, there’s really no place for me in a social construct that promotes “getting laid” as the end goal. There’s so much more to the human experience of love, and yes, sex is still a part of it but it’s not remotely close to the first thing for me.

I completed the Adventures of Elliot demo. There are some other things I could go back and do, and probably will. I’m intrigued just enough to play a bit more, but on the fence still as to whether I’d buy it. Good thing I have until 2026 to decide.
