When I was with the Justice Department, I flew on a government plane with Attorney General Reno once. It was an FAA plane because I don’t think DoJ had a plane. She regularly flew commercial, in coach.

As a former school board member (not in Duval County) I’d have been honored to be criticized by a teacher on social media.
Duval County and Jacksonville have exactly the school board they voted for. Voters have been given tests like “actual J6er vs. acclaimed mental health professional” & “Michelle Obama is a man Facebook shitposter vs accomplished EdTech PhD” and choose wrong consistently. jaxtoday.org/2025/10/13/f...
Free speech fight simmers at Duval School Board | Jacksonville Today
Board members are criticized over speech as they vote to settle with a teacher over his alleged free speech violation, and the district investigates more teachers for social media posts.

Today marks the first day in the 55-year history of PBS and 54-year history of NPR that public media has broadcast to its audiences without federal funding. But even though lots of local outlets are at risk, PBS and NPR are still here, providing fair, accurate news coverage and will not be silenced.

The last 10 years have been amazing. From launching @quad9dns.bsky.social with PCH, to kicking off Common Good Cyber and the Fund, GCA has accomplished a lot. I was privileged to help support the people who did those things, both at GCA and across the community. One team, one fight.
🎂 Today marks a milestone — 10 years of the Global Cyber Alliance! 🎉

Thank you to our partners, donors, and communities who have worked so hard to make our digital lives more secure. H

Anyone know the percentage of in-use devices out there that won't support Windows 11? I'm thinking back to how long support for Windows XP lasted, in part because of the huge installed base.

I've been on the outskirts of terrorism, political violence, and insanity a few times in my life. In October 2002 I was at the Home Depot in Falls Church the day or two before the Beltway Sniper struck there. In June of 2017 I was on London Bridge shortly before the 2017 car and knife attacks.
