This is especially dangerous in a country like the united states, where the culture has no sanction for ignorance and facts have no value.
ever since I learned about three-cueing I've developed infinitely more patience for replies on social media. mfers literally do not know how to read. people are walking around conjuring random meanings into words they don't know, and they don't know a lot of words. it's crazy

It's probably not something anybody would have standing to challenge, but a straightforward case could be made this violates the 27th Amendment. By limiting it to only senators, the value of this cause of action is thus a perk, a kind of 'compensation,' granted simply because they're senators.
This allows Trump (via DOJ) to use taxpayer money to bribe eight GOP Senators. It's that simple, there's no other way to describe it.
And where's the compensation for people injured by the Trump admin's unlawful conduct through DHS & DOGE?
Take a bow, @schumer.senate.gov, you did this.

Trump and his lapdogs continue to assert that they alone have the power to slash whatever programs they don’t like.

That’s like playing Texas Hold’em, raising every bet to the river, then folding before you even see the opponent's losing cards.
Stupid? YES, but feels more like cheating. It's getting old.

Trump is now claiming "affordability" issue that caused epic GOP losses is a "con." Repubs aren't allowed to contradict the despot, so that's become GOP gospel. Meanwhile MAGA coalition is fracturing.

And it should also be the graveyard of politicians
A GOP budget that spikes health premiums to fund tax cuts for billionaires is a grave betrayal of everyday families.
That was true in July. It was true in September. And it remains true today.
House Democrats are not giving up. We’ll keep fighting for the American people.
