It would probably be relatively easy for xAI to update Grok to prevent the creation of non-consensual sexualised images of adults and children, something which is already illegal in the UK. If it wants to be a responsible platform then it must do it immediately, rather than just paywalling it.

It was one of the most blatant incidents of incitement to racial violence that you would see, and the DM labels it just as an "anti immigrant tweet". Saying it on Twitter is no different to saying it on a megaphone in the street.
Matthew Goodwin objects to prosecuting this: ‘I think it’s time for the British to gang together, hit the streets and start the slaughter. Violence and murder is the only way now. Start off burning every migrant hotel then head off to MPs’ houses and Parliament, we need to take over by FORCE.’

Interesting that the BBC will call National Rally "Far Right" (in an article about Bardella meeting Farage) - when they would never use that term for Reform. Their policies are very similar. If anything Reform's are more authoritarian.

Oh look, they've found another asset-rich person to complain. She's made a massive amount of unearned money from that property. It's actually called the High Value Council Tax Surcharge. It will come in in 3 years after a consultation on support schemes, exemptions and reliefs.
Huge respect to the papers for finding both an 88 year old worried about the tax bill on her 6 bedroom Kensington house and a 20 year old fretting about only being able to save £12k a year tax free.

Important to remember
Worth mentioning, there's nothing illegal about seeking asylum. Indeed the need for those doing so to use irregular routes is recognised in law, provided they present themselves, as they have to, to seek asylum to the relevant authorities. This is a grotesquely misleading comment by the Home Office.

Katie Lam has made some extreme statements in the last few days, and they need to be called out for what they are.
Once someone has made enough NI contributions to qualify for whatever proportion of state pension that that contribution allows them, then they should absolutely get it.
Via @sundersays.bsky.social the Conservatives' draft legislation - absolutely clear that it applies to (and is intended to apply to) legal permanent residents claiming state pension (on the basis of their contributions) or child benefit for British kids.
