Since Polygon is leaving it out of the headline: Epic Games partnered with The Game Awards to put money into the pocket of a bigot who uses her wealth to further the genocide of trans people through lawsuits and legislation. Every 'free' game gives money directly to JKR, and they are complicit.

Meanwhile Robin Ince genuinely has been cancelled for daring to voice his opinions and for defending trans people.

Where's the outrage from the "cancel culture" lot?

What are the Free Speech Union doing to help him?

Which views the BBC considers unacceptably political in its presenters is particularly telling, isn't it?
Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

I was teaching in austin during this race, and another teacher in my cohort was dear friends with Jessica Cisneros, the woman running against him.

Pro abortion, pro-medicare for all, immigration attorney for RAICES. And the dems backed her conservative opponent.
Nancy Pelosi gave $4,000 to incumbent Henry Cuellar in December 2021, in his Democratic primary rematch vs. progressive Jessica Cisneros. Dem leaders circled and backed him.

The next month, FBI raided Cuellar's home.

He won the primary in June by only 289 votes. He was indicted on bribery in 2024.
Here Are the Congressional Democrats Who Donated to Anti-Choice Dem Henry Cuellar
Facing a strong primary challenge from pro-choice Jessica Cisneros, anti-abortion Democrat Henry Cuellar secured crucial campaign support from at least 18 Democratic incumbents.

It's an unpopular opinion but I don't think it's good to live in a society where men can grab you off the street and there's literally nothing you can do about it

Moreover, ICE must be destroyed
Bovino, the man overseeing mass deportations, publicly declared that we must all have our papers on us, at all times, or we could be stopped, harassed, kidnapped, and detained, as they did with the man in this case, who is a US citizen.

A reminder that deportable crimes involving moral turpitude include things like turnstile hopping, and that from the very start of Trump‘s career he has sought to cast all migrants as criminals.
So the new reporting is that DHS has decided to go back to a primary focus on targeted enforcement that existed before the late May orders from Stephen Mille to ramp up numbers or else.

Quite frankly, I’ll believe it when I see it. And also at this point the public struggles to tell the difference.

if this pertains to the student who wrote an uncited and meandering paper that didn’t fulfill the prompt, how is it in any way title 9 related?
From the Oklahoma U student paper: the school is now saying it will automatically suspend faculty (with pay) in response to student complaints

Police procedurals: 'This serial killer is super sophisticated, highly intelligent and his murders follow an occult pattern of ritualized murder... He's one sick son of a bitch.'

Actual serial killers: 'Yea so he hated women and killed sex workers which is why the cops didn't care.'

When population complains they never fix the issue but put more effort into preventing people from complaining again. This is also why we have anti-union laws
Millions of young people across the globe protested against a genocide — an unprecedented mass movement that was organized on social media.

In that time, the US government basically nationalized TikTok and the Australian government has banned teenagers from social media altogether.

People who argue "who cares it's just for kids" all I can say is fuck right off. Kids deserve thoughtful, well-made movies that challenge them just as much as adults do. Kids aren't stupid, and they remember how movies affect them basically forever.
