Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning.

took my kid to the clock store this morning, wearing his clock sticker, got to see some cuckoo clocks in action, got to see a bunch of grandfather clocks in person, and the owner gave us an old mechanism to take home. a very nice half hour!

I have taught struggling readers/writers in 2nd-8th grade, and what drives me insane about Epstein’s writing is that it’s unclear what his fucking deal is. Normally you can see patterns and specific things they’re missing, but not with him.

you know what would hurt Trump to give? scalps from his administration and the kind of investigations that could actually put Pretti and Good's murderers in jail. if you aren't asking for that you are simply saying that keeping DHS funded is more important than justice.
funding DHS without the kind of concessions that it will *hurt* Trump to give is a betrayal of our martyrs. I simply expect that betrayal.
