The lack of follow-up questions that challenge his statements in the moment is consistently disappointing.
Pro tip: When he said this, the VERY NEXT QUESTION should have been: "But isn't Obama covered by the same Supreme Court presidential immunity ruling that protected YOU from prosecution last year?"
REPORTER: Gabbard has submitted a criminal referral. Who should the DOJ target?

TRUMP: It would be President Obama. And Biden was there with him ... the leader of the gang was Obama. Barack Hussein Obama. He's guilty. This is treason.

Fantastic work by Dems, a double whammy, stop the legislation and corner them on Epstein.

And TBH there's nothing more Republican than "we can't move forward our hateful legislation because we have to help our President cover up his pedophilia scandal."
Politico & Punchbowl report House Republican leadership is shutting down the Rules Committee - which is essential for moving party-line bills on the floor - for the week rather than vote on Democratic amendments on the Epstein files.

Dems have effectively halted Republican legislation in the House:

I can't wait for Marco Rubio to add this anecdote to his standard story about how his family fled Cuba to find freedom in the USA.
I’m at the immigration court in Miami, where at around 9:30 a.m. a Cuban man started choking himself and saying was going to commit suicide after he was arrested by federal officials.

The stupidity is the point
TAPPER: You're imposing a 10% on the Heard and MccDonald islands. They have zero human inhabitants. Why are you putting tariffs on islands entirely populated by penguins?

ROLLINS: Whatever. Listen, the people leading this are serious, intentional, patriotic, the smartest I've ever worked with.

Mitch McConnell couldn't vote for Tulsi, but could with Patel? Please.

it's all choreographed. they know they have the votes so, they let them vote no to appear "moderate"
Kash Patel has been confirmed as FBI Director. Republican Senators Susan Collins (ME) and Lisa Murkowski (AK) voted no. History will remember the cowardice of so many across the GOP who chose loyalty to Trump over the rule of law & the national security of our country.

They outright say they haven't assessed the merit of the charges. Instead, it's solely because Adams is with Trump on immigration.

The message is clear: support us and your crimes will be ignored.

The US Attorney for DC has already made clear the other message: oppose us and you'll be targeted.

I'm sorry, but "they took over the whole federal payments system, fired the career staff, and won't let anybody see what they're doing" is not a situation in which you wait for more information. It's a situation in which you assume the worst. There's no explanation for it other than rampant crimes.

Kash Patel—Trump’s pick to lead the FBI—has appeared six times on a podcast by Stew Peters, a white nationalist who spreads antisemitic propaganda (including claims that Jews control the world).

If Katel becomes head of the FBI, how would he investigate antisemitic & white nationalist hate crimes?

It wasn't The Groups who made Biden choose a VP who hadn't convinced most party elites she could win a national campaign.

It wasn't The Groups who forced Biden to run again.

It wasn't The Groups who slow walked Merrick Garland.

It was the leadership class of the Democratic Party.

He is heading towards MAGA. The transformation is now clearly under way.

Just like Tulsi & RFK Jr. before him.
yes yes we all know what he means but always funny when people use the word “establishment” in a way that excludes the last 8 years of Republican Party leadership, a dozen billionaires including the richest man in human history, Fox News, etc

It’s the result of the faux-savvy “everyone is corrupt” brainrot that makes people think the openly criminal Trump is more honest than Jimmy Carter, who must be hiding his cocaine and prostitutes from everybody else.
Trump is the most overtly corrupt politician probably ever in American history and he's treated like a populist. It's just so so depressing. He gets paid by domestic and foreign entities through his businesses and it just doesn't even register as a scandal
