I think Ant was just saying he’s looking forward to going home to Atlanta during the all-star break. He’s on shore leave and wants wings.

The freezer we got just to enable our Costco runs has really come in handy. It’s full.

My gosh, if I was a billionaire, I’d be out there every day showering the causes I love with money and overwhelming their finances. How many beautiful things could you do with that?!
pretty stunning chart

My theory of the moment: The extraordinary courage of ordinary people in places like Minneapolis is reawakening us to our social and economic ties to immigrants. It's making "love thy neighbor" cool again. That's the ultimate antidote to MAGA hate.

Thoughts on this:

Saw a dude my age at the gym wearing one of those shirts everyone used to wear in high school: “Pain is weakness leaving the body.”

My friend, at our age, it’s more likely that pain is a sign of a larger problem, and you should probably make an appointment.

On Presidents’ Day, I’m proud to celebrate our President - by which of course I mean Minneapolis City Council President Elliott Payne.

He could've done a One-Minute Tour of the Stand With Minnesota site from Australia.

Part of my theory of change is to share the words white men need to hear, spoken by white men. This is because creating defections is crucial to stopping authoritarianism and democratic backsliding. This is because almost everyone else is already off the Trump train.

Yeah, this is pretty much exactly what I thought about when I saw Musk's stupid racist tweet: Minnesotans have spent the last month and a half saying we will die to defend our multicultural community.
It's also part of a very direct negation of the latest stupid tweet by Musk: people have given so much, two of them their lives, to defend a multicultural city and the rights of people not exactly like them. And that multiculturalism is American culture.

I'm catching up with the All-Star games. Ant is hilarious. But he also took this seriously.

A garage is a good place to store a bike but I’m thinking I’ll keep my neighborhood bike on the front porch so I can pop right out the door on it.

Minneapolis city council president Elliott Payne (front left in video) has been an absolute champ throughout the ICE invasion. Some of our MN leaders have been useless or worse, but Payne and some other council members have been heroic.
We’re going to continue being out there and patrolling to protect our neighbors until every single last agent is gone. We’re also going to keep this connection going and continue building community for long after whenever this operation ends.

Great turn out at the MIRAC rally & march today at Jackson Square Park. It was heart warming seeing our immigrant neighbors open their windows and cheer as we went through the neighborhood.

Thanks to Tony I figured out Revival's food truck is doing pop-up brewery visits. Their next one is Steel Toe Brewing, 2/19, 4–8 p.m.
Where do people like to get fried chicken around here these days? Really missing Revival 😭
