i’ve been seeing people joining bluesky saying their feeds are dull or slow and want more people to follow, i put together a startpack of people i think are very funny, smart, i’m friends with, and people we had on western kabuki!

And the truth is that the real adults in the rooms are the radicals trying to mitigate or reverse the massive and pressing dangers of the climate crisis and capitalism. The “rational” moderates are children wearing their daddy’s shoes and suits that are 10 sizes too big.
A big part of the problem with the Election Takes is the infantalization of idealism and the adultification of moderation.

there's so many things i could say about rfk to make fun of him here but i think the funniest is that after all that yapping about tartrazine (yellow dye #5) he's sitting with his employer who is shown in the photo to be consuming tartrazine (it's an ingredient in fanta)

There is a push among some orgs, "moderate" legislators, and even trans people to "give up the sports issue" in hopes that will stop hate.
I have watched moderates try this in 23 state houses.
It doesn't work. There is no amount of give you can offer that will stop them from taking.
