for anyone who's not familiar with networking terminology: imagine looking up a cake recipe and it ends with "now these are only theoretical ingredients, don't use them" and instead of the cooking steps it has a link to the wikipedia page for baking and a reddit thread about oil vs butter
if you end your official guide with "obviously you should not use this code because this is a simplified starting point" and nothing but vague links like "what is client/server architecture" and a stackoverflow page of fighting about udp/tcp, i will take it as an invitation to gnaw on your ankles
