After being held in two of them as a boy, I fought for decades urging America to never again build concentration camps and put human beings in them. It breaks my heart to watch this happen twice now in my own lifetime.

Instead of investing our tax dollars in science, and art, and social improvement, we use them to build a police state, and prison/camp industry.
We invest in military businesses that fill our cities with war machines and surveillance aparatuses.
Families struggle. The rich will be just fine.

Apparently our electricity bills are going through the roof and this is partly related to data centers that hog huge amounts of electricity to generate information. I, for one, feel hopping mad about this. The companies that are using the data centers should bear the cost.
