So much of ICE and CBP’s violence is just them doing the violence — no even pretense that they’re under threat or that force is justified. They’re using pepper spray and tear gas to express annoyance.
Tonight at 8:30 PM our constituent Ricky was pepper sprayed by ICE on 18th & Polk. 2 agents parked their car, got out and approached observers, started pepper spraying Ricky on public property, and then drove away and left.

Nothing is changing on the ground in Minnesota. ICE must be abolished.

Just got the most bat shit insane "Nigerian" style email scam I've seen in years in my spam folder that claims to be from Kash Patel promising $10.5 million compensation as a result of... Nigerian email scams.

Gotta wonder how many MAGA hats would actually take the bait and get scammed by this.

A brand new Super PAC — Elect Chicago Women — just dropped hundreds of thousands of dollars into this race. Why?

Because it’s actually a front for AIPAC dark money. And they’re doing everything they can to buy my race:

Can we please quit pretending that Ruben Gallego is some sort of progressive when he's the 4th most Trump friendly Dem in the Senate? This is the second time a major org has done this today and things are kind of too dire to pretend like Gallego has any interest in helping.

Our capitalists don’t envision automation as a bridge to human prosperity, otherwise they’d advocate for the types of fundamental societal changes that would make that possible such as UBI or investment in infrastructure through taxing their income. Their vision for automation is a robot with a whip

Cops were frequently getting caught planting drugs in 2017 because body cameras were new and many of them didn't understand how the technology worked.

When cops hit "record" it saved the 30 seconds from *before* they hit the button. Eventually, they figured it out.

The gaslighting is so real here.

They need to regulate this sort of BS but they won't. They need to stop billionaires from making everyone suffer ridiculously. Slavery never went away, it just co-opted other terminology.
FOX: " Rent Now, Pay Later. It's a new option for renters who are struggling to make the monthly payment ... You pay them a fee or a monthly subscription, but if you miss the payments — that's when the interest rates go way up."

Thanks for speaking the truth. Many are misled to believe that evening light is better when it disregulates our circadian rhythm. Timezones are manipulated by our state govts rather than follow longitude.

We are diurnal creatures (even if we force nocturnal habits) that require morning light. 🌞
4pm darkness happens because shorter winter days naturally make sunset earlier, not because of Standard Time. That said, 9pm daylight *is* artificially created by DST. Sunset could perfectly reasonably be at 8. I’d think morning people would like darkness at their bedtime and light when they wake up

Spain is under no obligation to defer to US law (or in this case the lack of willingness of the US to actually enforce its own laws).

Spain has the right to enforce its laws in Spain.
