Finally, BBC News at 10 name the hero bystander

"He's now been hailed a hero and named locally as Ahmed el Ahmed"

Australian news channels have been reporting his name non stop for over 10 hours, I would have thought BBC News would have been on the ball faster

I hope somebody will complain to IPSO about this (and the similar Express splash). If so this will be a very useful reference.
Lies, damned lies and the Telegraph. They posted CSJ figures using an outrageously false comparison of 2 cases. It claimed a benefits family were better off by £18k than a working household when the real figure was £16k worse off. The details benefitsinthefuture.com #benefits #budget

Ever since I finished Question Time, Reform have massively been on the attack.

Including a rant from Richard Tice entirely designed to distract from Reform and Russia.

Everyone should know about Nathan Gill, the bribes from Russia and the link to Reform.

Monthly disposable income fell by £40 per person under the tories. The first time in British history that disposable income has reduced over a parliamentary term.

In the first 6 months under Labour, disposable income rose by £55, a larger increase than under any other government in the same period.

It's had a massive impact on me personally. I live in a south Wales valley where 98% of the population are White Welsh/British/English. Last Saturday I had my gallbladder removed. The care I recieved from a range of immigrants, from all over the globe was incredible.

Today, a company linked to Baroness Michelle Mone was told it must repay the government £122m for breaching a contract for medical gowns during the Covid pandemic.

If true this is great news.
Not that it's my news to announce but back in July 2024, the new Government promised 2 million extra NHS appointments by now.

To date they've notched up more than 5 million.

Bet you won't hear that on the BBC any time soon.
