The usual Mail garbage!
The idea that you can think Maduro is a bellend AND think the US invading Venezuela is illegal appears to have completely broken the Daily Mail’s brain.

No surprises there then.

Keir Starmer must come to Parliament today and make it clear that Britain stands with Denmark against Trump’s threats.

We need Greenland': Trump repeats threat to annex Danish territory

Thus says el presidente! And after that? The world?
January 5, 2026 at 10:10 AM
Well I'd agree - but fear it's not going to happen in the short term.
This must be a united front between all European nations. Hence the urgent need for the UK to make far stronger moves to rejoin the EU in steps, it’s for our own protection against the rogue state that the US has become.

Very deeply concerning!
Deeply concerned about Trump’s imperial intentions - and the implications for Greenland.

UK Government needs to make clear that we will not stand for US piracy to seize the natural resources of sovereign states.
First Venezuela, next Greenland?

You don't suck up to bullies like Trump, he will just see it as a sign of weakness.

Keir Starmer needs to get on the phone to our European allies including the Danish PM, and show a united front against Trump's threats.

It's the Magic Roundabout!
Reached out to the White House and the Pentagon to ask what they know about the death toll of their strikes in Venezuela.

The White House referred us to the Pentagon.

And the Pentagon referred us to the White House.

2025 was mostly garbage, but there were some good moments.

One of my favorites was when a family of beavers built a dam in just a few days, saving the Czech Republic 30 million Czech koruna (US$1.2 million) for a wetland restoration project the government had been planning for 7 years. 🦫 🌿
These eager beavers saved the Czech government $1.2 million
After plans stalled for a new dam in the Czech Republic, eight beavers saved the day seemingly overnight. “At this point, nothing that beavers do surprises me.”

What makes the regime-change operation in Venezuela morally worse than a typical regime change is that Trump doesn’t even plan to give the Venezuelan people a chance for a new leader or democracy.

He just kidnapped Maduro to seize their oil while leaving the regime in place

Usual nonsense!

Of course, if the Tories and Reform get together, that'll be a great expression of democracy! It's only a plot when it threatens their position.

Severe double think symptoms!
Tactical voting is not a "left-wing plot".
