You can't legislate this problem away because we have a lawless executive that ignores laws it doesn't like
We should not fund DHS without serious reform. We could return CBP to border. We could require warrants for immigration arrests. We could beef up training and require identification.

I just found out that my ex had a baby about a month ago.
And you know what? Genuinely, good for her and I'm happy for her. Because me not wanting kids was probably the biggest problem in our relationship, so I'm glad that we can both have what we want now.

The question we need to be asking right now is, how do we make sure that what comes next isn't even worse than late stage capitalism? Socialism isn't an inevitable outcome of the fall of capitalism, it's just the most desirable outcome. We need to make that happen.
