I’ve said it before, but “resist” liberals have been the only ones taking Trump’s dangers seriously from the start. They were ruthlessly mocked by the left and the right. And sure, you can find some annoying versions of them. But they were calling it nonstop.

People miss why disappointment in Democrats is so much more prevalent than that of Republicans: both parties have absolute agency and are responsible for their choices. But it’s the Democrats who are telling us they’ll make our lives better and not *openly* showing us contempt. So we expect better.

ICE should not exist. They don’t need better training, less/more funding, or approvals or whatever. They just need to be disbanded and never put back together in any way. Reorganization is out of the question. They just need to not exist and every single person who signed up needs to see punishment.

What sucks about all this is that I’m sure that Renee Good’s death will be forgotten about in about a few days and we’ll just move on to the next atrocious act committed by this administration. I don’t want that to happen but it seems that’s the pattern.
