In all seriousness, this is a perfect encapsulation of Trump not only as a president, but as a person. He has no regards for anyone but himself. A person is suffering right next to him and he’s standing there like it has nothing to do with him. Just pure evil.

Another reason I’m not into the “no war but class war” garbage. Republicans are pretty much Nick Fuentes and his ilk now. They’d burn this country to the ground if it meant being rid of ethnic, gender, and sexual minorities.
Shapiro and Weiss seriously thought they could fan the flames of reactionary politics and it would spare them. Did they think they could spew racist and transphobic bigotry and it not end up growing into a monster that eventually came for them too? They made this bed for all of us.

My question is this: do conservatives think Trump will live forever? They think that he will rule for 1000 years but the reality is that he is not immortal. They will have to reckon with the atrocious acts they’ve committed in his name.

If any normal person called off work for 80% of their shifts in three months, there’d be no way they would keep their job. Why is Congress able to just not do their job but we have to see them posting on social media and bragging about the fun they’re having?
