I’m so glad to be in Australia and watch the freedom of our beautiful birds. I’ve recently had a major upset in my life, but I feel good when they come and visit. Nature knows it stuff when it can create beauty like this. Just like us, there’s beauty in humanity. Bluesky helps us remember it

In the past 24 hours, we've gone from Brown University to Bondi Beach to the death of the Reiners. And the most depressing part is there may be an even worse news cycle tomorrow. There often is. Check in with friends & family. Hug your kids. Add more love into the world. We're all in this together.

I just realised why I came off the Facebook platform. Sky news has opened up its piece on the Bondi shootings and it’s turned into a full on hate session on immigrants/religious groups/ government. Other outlets posted the news and turned off comments. It’s so horrible.
