In Ukraine, corruption is now getting seriously investigated even if it concerns the most powerful people, inner circle of the president. In US not only it doesn't, but too many people are just fine with it.

Euroclear is not Belgian, it is EU's.
The Belgians cannot take only the benefits - taxes - but shy away from all risks of hosting a EU institution.
If Belgium cannot act in EU interest with regards to Euroclear, Euroclear must be moved immediately to a country which will - Germany or France.
