Personally, I think that this is an excellent title of a US History book for high school students, although this may present a barrier to getting said textbook approved in many Southern states
"the elite of the antebellum South were degenerate gamblers who financed their lifestyles with industrialized rape and would kill you for pointing this out" is a straightforwardly accurate statement

I served. It's severely damaging to the nonpartisan reputation of our armed forces.
I realize media doesn’t think it’s a big deal that Trump, Vance & Hegseth continue to give partisan political speeches to troops, evidenced by the fact that they are never asked about it nor are members of Congress, but it is one of the most dangerous things happening right now.

The pro-life movement spreading measles across the land is a bit on the nose.
Florida law says colleges have to allow an opt-out on mandatory vaccinations.

And so the measles that came back on the buses from DC in January are currently ripping through Ave Maria University in Florida.

Meta's plan for launching glasses that people can use to secretly identify strangers on the street is to do it "during a dynamic political environment" when people who care about why that's bad are "focused on other concerns."

This is a huge issue. Russia did something similar between 2010 and 2016.
Russia is engineering a migration bomb for Europe. Disinformation on local airwaves in Mali and Niger pushes desperate youth toward deadly routes; Russian paramilitaries guard traffickers in Libya. Endgame? Chaos at EU gates, fractured politics. Europe ignores this at its peril.

Agreed. We’ve got to investigate Hunter Biden and hold him accountable for his major government role in … ok, wait a minute, standby, I’m hearing this is not about Hunter Biden.
As we dig into this scandal, can we revisit the question about why the president's son-in-law, who has no formal role in this administration, keeps showing up at high-level negotiations with actual world leaders?
Breaking WSJ:

The highly classified whistleblower complaint against Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is related to a conversation intercepted last spring in which two foreign nationals discussed Jared Kushner, according to U.S. officials familiar with the matter.

I don't see how this is a tenable position for anyone that has read anything that Douglass wrote.

Wait, the Bulwark is doing book reviews now? Good.
