There's some good in this world, Mister Frodo. And it's worth fighting for.
Would like to see an investigation as to the DOJ is surveilling members of Congress.
A Reuters photographer captured this image of a page from Pam Bondi's "burn book," which she used to counter any questions from Democratic lawmakers during an unhinged hearing today.

It looks like the DOJ monitored members of Congress’s searches of the unredacted Epstein files.

Just wow.

Cuellar, the guy that Trump pardoned.

C'mon, guys.
NEW: House passes SAVE America Act

218-213; Rs + 1 Dem (Cuellar) vote yes.

Revised Trump-backed bill requires showing proof of citizenship "in person" to register and slaps photo ID rules to vote.

Now it goes to the Senate. No path to 60. THUNE promises a vote.

House passes SAVE America Act, sending Trump-backed election bill to the Senate
The legislation would overhaul federal election laws in all 50 states by imposing new voter ID and proof-of-citizenship requirements. But it faces a daunting path in the Senate.

If this is what they wanted to talk about, they would not have asked for Pam Bondi.
Bondi crashes out over Epstein: "The Dow is over 50,000 dollars! I don't know why you're laughing. You're a great stock trader as I hear, Raskin. The Dow is over 50,000 right now. The S&P at almost 7,000, and the Nasdaq smashing records. That's what we should be talking about."

I think the Attorney General should be the chief law enforcement officer of the United States, primarily focused on enforcing U.S. federal statutes.

Sorry to get so partisan. I know my statement is controversial these days. But it's honestly how I feel.

Members of the executive branch are not invited to testify before Congress to provide their opinions on Congress, although one would not know this if all that one has seen is Bondi and other Trump officials.
Attorney General Pam Bondi to Rep. Thomas Massie: "This guy has Trump Derangement Syndrome. You're a failed politician."

Bondi is lying, and she knows it.
Bondi shamelessly lies: "Robert Mueller found no evidence of foreign interference in 2016. Have you apologized to President Trump?"

“Don’t worry about raping children, go count your money” is an amazing talking point for a party that claims to follow Jesus

We now have data from Trump's first full year in office. Let's review the performance of Trump and the two parties since 1989 and a new age of globalization began.

However you cut the data Trump continues to have worst jobs record of last six Presidents. 1/

Massie's right. And the answer will wind up being something simple: he's a crony of Trump's and he made the right campaign contributions.

The CIA scrubbing the World Factbook from the web may not seem like a big deal in itself, but it's a symptom of something larger: the Trump administration's war on government usefulness.

This is a fascinating thread, and it makes me realize that I don't think I'll be able to properly mourn what we've lost until we can get the current administration that's still trying to wreck it out of power.
Once upon a time I was taking a train from East Berlin to Budapest. It was crowded to start with, and I was sitting on the floor, but everything got worse in Dresden, when many rowdy young E. Germans got on. They spilled beer on my head. They tripped over me. It was 2am and I didn’t want a fight…

I think the answer to this is: when the media reports on what Republicans say they want, many Republican voters say “well I don’t want that” and they trust their self perception over the actual words and deeds of Republican officials and assume the media is lying bsky.app/profile/jame...
