Feeling helpless? Reading about how people resisted fascism always makes me feel better. People before me did it, I can too.
This editorial falls short on one aspect. Actions from political leaders are vital too. Properly funding public health in its work would be a good start. An under-resourced public health can't make progress. Any politician suggesting that vaccines not be mandatory should be laughed off the stage

Doug Ford’s speed camera ban could mean cuts to crossing guards, traffic safety agents without more provincial funding, Olivia Chow warns
“Immediate funding” for 40 municipalities to replace their speed camera initiatives doesn’t cover the $245 million cost for Toronto alone, Olivia Chow said Thursday.

But under the surface, one that’s being sold as an Indigenous-led LNG project is actually — spoiler — American as hell.

That’s not even the worst part!

Today is a good day to remember, and to say, that the #MeToo movement was right, and was righteous, and has been vindicated over and over again. There was no overreach. There was no excess. There was no they-went-too-far.

So much work remains to be done.

I think the ostrich situation is best understood as: The Canadian cranks don't have Trudeau to fixate on, and nothing else at the federal level has gained traction, so they just need some kind of esoteric outrage that keeps the machine running.

It's basically a mid-season filler episode.

There must be accountability from Premiers Ford and Smith.
Also from CPC whose leader, Poilievre, advocated for ending all vaccine mandates. Why is the head of the PHAC not being interviewed?
