If undocumented immigrants are not showing up at immigration courts, it means, they're not going to work - you know what that means, lost of income, etc. Not good for the national economy.

Putin on China:

I see President Xi Jinping as my reliable friend and stable partner. And that's the most important foundation for the development of our Russia-China relations.

Russian-Chinese relations regulate security in the world. We cooperate in the military area successfully.

Putin:

Today's situation [the war] was created by the Western politicians with their own hands and they continue to escalate the situation.

They keep saying they're getting ready for a war with Russia.

But are we really going to attack Europe? What kind of nonsense is this?

But the ripple effects, of a bomb drop, would be felt in Russia and other surrounding countries. Dropping a bomb is not a practical antidote to the conflict. Putin is sensible! Kudos to him.

Technology has outlived its usefulness. Pick up a pen/pencil and paper, write your stuff & file it in a three ring folder. For distribution, use a paid courier or the post office. This is only time when going back would be a good thing.

The "reconnaissance cockroaches'" technology is reminiscent of "Star Wars" technology. It's not practical but meant to scare the Russians to commit resources to react. The Soviets getting a whiff of "Star Wars" might have led to the breakup of the Soviet Union.

The American economy depends on truckers. Technology is promising to transform this industry with new driver-assistance features that are meant to make the job safer and less demanding.
Will technology provide a boost to truck drivers — or will it replace them?

Can the EU wait a couple more years? Tech regulation is important.
The United States demanded that the EU make its regulation of the tech sector more "balanced" in exchange for a reduction of US tariffs on steel and aluminum imports from the bloc.

At this point, the Dems can win any election, in spite of, their platform or label. #Bluewave.

Wilson ousts Mayor Bruce Harrell after running as a progressive challenger.

Her win is a west coast companion to Mamdani’s as a statement victory for the left.

Now Johnson is spreading nonsense that Dems "admitted they used people for their leverage and political stunt where they haven't achieved anything", but "GOP did it all in good faith".

These guys have daughters and wives. Why don't they appreciate women? To relieve someone of a post because of her gender is unconscionable. Not too long ago, such action would have been unfathomable.
The first woman to serve with the elite SEAL Team Six as a troop commander has had her orders revoked just days before she was supposed to take over a new command.

A lot of tax-payer money finances all these retributive investigations and prospective trials.

This money could be paying for #SNAP.
Trump law-lackey, Jason Reding “Quiñones”, the US Attorney in the SDFL, issues subpoenas to John Brennan & others to advance a bullshit investigation.

My latest on Reding’s checkered past and why this investigation smacks of yet more weaponization of the DOJ by Trump.

Unfortunately, one elderly person will not feel the pain of hunger because he has a surfeit of fiscal resources provided by the Government of the United States.
Can you imagine with a hungry baby?

No formula and no means to get some?

It is cruel and abusive to starve babies and children

Not to mention the elderly and disabled

These astronomical salaries are incongruent to the work done on the job, time and labor-wise. The CEOs are constantly in party-like meetings discussing subjective issues. The nitty gritty work is done by the rank and file.
Walmart and McDonald’s are among the top employers of workers who rely on food stamps.

McDonald's CEO raked in $18.2M last year — over 1,000x the company's median employee pay.

Walmart's CEO pocketed $27.4M — 930x the company's median employee pay.

See the problem?

I’ve been writing a book this year, without using AI, but the world is inserting it everywhere and it is alarming & annoying.

Why destroy an iconic and storied program like #USAID?

While children may be, physically, dying in recipient nations the producers in the USA are experiencing fiscal death. Foreign policy devoid of humaneness is destructive on both sides.

Never forget or forgive that Trump, Rubio, & Musk *chose* to inflict this monumental level of death and suffering on the poorest & most vulnerable people.

Putin says, he's a "future" CIA Director in a speech slip. Does it mean he's going to conquer the USA and direct the CIA himself, in future?
Putin, during his speech at the "Valdai" forum, slipped and called himself the former head of the CIA:

"Well, no, after all, our opponents at that time — let’s call them that… What did I see as the CIA Director? Oh."

After the slip, he joked: "Future [Director]."
