Saudi Arabia has now remembered the efficacy of weaponizing the issue of palestine. And the UAE bet on the wrong horse when they became a conduit of israeli policy in the region, thinking that people wouldn't care what happens to Palestinians.
I hate having to check in on XTwitter but man the war between Saudi and UAE influencers and bots over there the last few days is something to behold. It’s wild. More soon.

Over the years I've managed to make a strong presence for myself on the Iraq Twitter network, got many opportunities, made many real life friends. Twitter gave me a voice I didn't have.

Deleting the contents of my twitter today - after it took me weeks to get the archive - and it's making me emotional. I was one of many that found & honed my voice there. Devastated that the space has been hijacked & disfigured beyond recognition becoming unusable for our communities & movements.
